The “Main Space (Studio)” is the dedicated event area at the front of our loft – seating and set-up are arranged to suit you, and the coworking area at the back remains visually separate from the event space. Ideal for workshops, seminars, meetups and evening events.

The “Main Space (Full)” gives you exclusive use of our entire 300 m² open space – the perfect setting for large conferences, networking events and company parties with up to 199 guests. Two additional meeting rooms (Bright Room & Oval Room) can be booked flexibly on top.

Our kitchen is available to you and your guests at any time (fridge, microwave, kettle, crockery, glasses and more). All drinks (water, coffee, tea & milk) are completely free for you and your guests!

Lunch, exclusive discounts & pop-up kitchen
Exclusive member discounts: we work with selected partner restaurants in the neighbourhood – as a MACHWERK member you save up to 20% on your food there.

Pop-up kitchen / guest chefs: Regular visits from guest chefs who cook fresh, right here at MACHWERK, add culinary variety.

Restaurants & shopping: Around Holzmarktstraße and Jannowitzbrücke you’ll find plenty of restaurants, cafés and snack bars. An Edeka supermarket with a bakery is just a 2-minute walk away.

Event catering (on request)
For meetings, workshops or evening events, we’re happy to organise individual catering on request, tailored to your wishes.

Your own catering is welcome. For use of the kitchen, crockery and cleaning we charge 5 € plus VAT per person. If you would like to make things easier, we can arrange catering that suits your event.

Book your room directly online (via the booking link above) or send us an enquiry with your individual wishes or questions. After booking, you’ll receive all important information by email. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive an invoice.

Cancellation: You can cancel the Main Space and Studio free of charge up to 30 days before the date, and the meeting rooms Bright Room and Oval Room up to 24 hours before.

Set-up and take-down are done according to your wishes. The time needed counts towards your booked time – so please plan for it. The minimum booking is three hours for the Studio and eight hours for the Main Space.

Music can play Monday to Thursday until 10 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays until 1 am. You can stay one hour longer each time: until 11 pm on weekdays and until 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays. This last hour is meant for take-down and counts towards your booked time.

What takes place here

From a morning workshop to an evening company party – our space at Holzmarktstraße 66 can be configured for a wide range of events. For larger events, you can also book it on weekdays for several days in a row.

Workshops & training

Seminars, trainings and team days. Projector, whiteboards and flip charts are ready, coffee and tea are included.

Company parties & team evenings

Summer party, Christmas party or simply an evening with your team – Mon to Fri from 6 pm and all day at weekends.

Talks & networking

Meetups, panel discussions and community evenings, with sound system, microphone and mobile screens.

Photo shoots & filming

A loft with high ceilings, exposed concrete and lots of daylight – a backdrop for photo and video productions, at weekends too.
