Sustainability at your space for Coworking Berlin

At MACHWERK you are not just working from a unique location, you also do something good.

All proceeds of MACHWERK go to social projects in Berlin. Currently, we are raising funds for the integration project “Active Newcomers”. It helps refugees and migrants in Berlin to participate in society through volunteering activities and make a smooth transition into the job market.

Welcome to MACHWERK. We are building the future where history happened. Located in the heart of Berlin at the historic “Alte Münze”, MACHWERK provides 345 sqm of office and event space for coworking, workshops or events.

  • 2 large coworking areas that host up to 65 people
  • 2 fully equipped meeting rooms accommodating 12 people each
  • A sofa lounge with a view on the river for cozy lunches or coffee breaks
  • A bar kitchen and enough space for events for up to 100 guests

As part of the historic Alte Münze-site, MACHWERK offers next to a lot of space for Coworking in Berlin a unique outdoor setting including a garden (Münzgarten), a café with outside seating and several indoor and outdoor event spaces that can be booked as add-on (hosting up to 500 people).

What is Alte Münze?

“Alte Münze” is a former Coin factory located in Berlin Mitte next to the river Spree. Run by “Spreewerkstätten” it is home to a variety of artists, creatives and social organizations and host of regular events. The area lies in one of the oldest and most historic neighborhoods in Berlin and stands for future-oriented repurposing of historic sites and a diverse urban community that promotes solidarity and cooperation between a diversity of projects and actors.
